Hello,

Im testing Asgardius S3 client with "garage" storage (S3 compatible) server (https://garagehq.deuxfleurs.fr/).
Server displays this error:

INFO garage_api::generic_server: Response: error 400 Bad Request, Authorization header malformed, expected scope: 20221124/us-east-1/s3/aws4_request

Any hint, what can be wrong?

kristof_p Which S3 clients did you try to use that storage server? Which ones worked? Some S3 clients does not work when server's reverse proxy is not configured to handle authorization headers. May be this the case. Which server are you using as reverse proxy? Which settings are you using for its virtualhost?

Im using MiniIO client (version 20221117T212039Z) for daily use with garage server.
Reverse proxy is Caddy (version 2.5.2) with config:

garage.example.org { reverse_proxy localhost:3900 }

I tested another clients
WinSCP - windows (www.winscp.net)
RCX - android (x0b.github.io)
rclone - linux (www.rclone.org)

All they work fine with garage server.

kristof_p To use my app with Garage you need to change region from garage to us-east-1 at settings file. You can find more info at https://wiki.asgardius.company/books/configuring-user-account/page/configuring-s3-manager-with-garage

Is Garage compatible with path style access or only with virtual host access? S3 Manager uses path style access by default and uses virtual host only with AWS. I'm working on an option to choose between virtual host and path style. Edit: This option was added on 0.4.0 release. If this issue is still unsolved, please open a new thread
